About e.S.A

Hi, I’m Mark, an avid cyclist, e-Biker, Commuter

I fell in love with cycling… literally, at the age of 5 when I rode my first 2-wheeler into a fire hydrant and went head over heels because I did’nt know where the brakes were…

I’m a “mild but avid”, 65+ cyclist in Boulder County for almost 40 years.  I’ve done lots of cycling and mountain biking around the state; ridden the Bicycle Tour of Colorado across the state twice; ridden Tour of the Moon in Grand Junction 4 times.

I was definitely one of those hard-core cycling traditionalists that used to get upset when someone with a motor driven “bike” would zoom past me without announcing, rumbling something unkind to myself. No longer…

After multiple surgeries that required me to use an e-Bike or not ride a bike at all, I learned that not all e-Bike riders are cheaters. In fact, e-Bikes serve an incredibly valuable service for people with disabilities – short term and long term.  Many seniors that have not ridden a bicycle in years now ride e-Bikes with ease.  Moms and Dads load their kids/dogs into cargo e-Bikes and enjoy trails together.  The more people that get out riding their bikes and e-bikes than driving their cars, the better.

e-Biking safety awareness will increase enjoyment of bike paths and trails for all users and concurrently help us reduce our Ozone Warnings in the Denver metro region year-round.

We’re a team of Colorado based marketing/print/graphic design professionals with over 30 years digital marketing background and thousands of miles of riding both bikes and e-Bikes, working to improve e-Biking (and cycling) safety awareness.  This initiative is an “ask” for all cyclists and/or e-device users that want to keep our Multi Use paths safe for everyone to help out.

Ride On!
